Lisa Schorr (born May 30, 1982 in Homburg ) is a German athlete who specializes in sprinting .

Life

In 1999 she became German B youth champion over 100 meters. With the German 4 x 100 meter relay, she came fourth at the U18 World Championships in the same year. At the U23 European Championships in Bydgoszcz in 2003 , she won the bronze medal in the relay ( Tanja Kuckelkorn , Lisa Schorr, Katja Wakan , Nadine Hentschke ) in 44.59 seconds. In 2004 she was nominated for the European Cup .

Schorr's career was always overshadowed by injuries. Her most successful year was 2009. First she was German university champion . Then she ran with a new Saarland record at the German Championships in Ulm in 11.34 s in third place. Because of her achievements, she was nominated by the DLV for the world championships , which were held in Berlin that same year. There Schorr was a substitute runner for the German relay, which won the bronze medal.

She started from 1993 to 1997 for LG Saar 70 and then moved to SV Saar 05 Saarbrücken . She began studying sports science at the Saarland University .
