Nadine Hentschke

Nadine Hentschke (born January 27, 1982 in Rheinberg ) is a former German athlete. She was vice-U23 European champion and German champion in the 100-meter hurdles .

Hentschke grew up in Moers and came to MTG Mannheim via VfL Repelen and the Niederrhein team . She was German Junior Champion in 2000 and 2001 and German Junior Champion in 2001. She was third in the senior category in 2001, before winning the German championships in 2003 both indoors and outdoors. In 2005 she was able to win the title in the hall with the 4 x 200 meter relay of MTG Mannheim (with Sabrina Mulrain , Johanna Kedzierski and Anne Möllinger ).

Internationally, Hentschke was fourth at the 2001 European Junior Championships. She was eighth in the European Indoor Championships in 2002 and seventh in 2005 . At the U23 European Championships in 2003 in Bydgoszcz, she was able to win the silver medal. There Hentschke also set her personal best in 12.89 s. She also took part in the 2003 World Championships in Paris and the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens .

In January 2008 Hentschke resigned from competitive sports after three years in which she was repeatedly injured. She studied to become a teacher in Heidelberg and became a teacher in Mannheim .
