List Hospitality Group
The List Hospitality Group (LHG) is an upscale hotel and catering chain that has operations at several locations in Austria . It is part of the List Group , which owns and operates real estate, garages and commercial operations. The owner is Hans Christoph List, heir to Hans Pruscha (died 1980).
Hotels
The LHG runs the following hotels:
- the Hotel Das Triest in Vienna- Wieden ,
- the Simm's Hotel in Vienna- Simmering ,
- the apartment house Singerstrasse 21/25 in Vienna's inner city ,
- the Parkhotel Pörtschach am Wörthersee and
- the Hotel Eden in Seefeld in Tyrol .
The Triest is a design hotel in the Freihausviertel , designed in 1996 by Sir Terence Conran . Simm's Hotel, opened in December 2012, received the Schorsch , an architecture award from the City of Vienna. The Parkhotel Pörtschach am Wörthersee is a design hotel from the 1960s, is located in a large park and has four stars. It is located on Hans-Pruscha-Weg, named after the Viennese garage owner who saved the hotel from bankruptcy in 1969 and took it over entirely in 1972.
There are also investments in the Hotel Park Inn (Linz), the Austria Trend Hotel Europa (Graz) and the Radisson Blu Style Hotel (Vienna).
gastronomy
In addition to the hotel restaurants, the LHG operates the following catering establishments:
- Wilhelm J. Sluka , a traditional confectionery at two locations in Vienna, on Rathausplatz (since 1891) and on Kärntner Straße (since 2017) and
- Strandleben , a summer business in Pörtschach am Wörther See .
