List of administrators of the utraquist church (1431–1639)
After the Archbishop of Prague Konrad von Vechta publicly read the Four Prague Articles on April 21, 1421 , he was removed from office by the Pope. During the subsequent vacancy , the Archdiocese of Prague was administered by Catholic administrators . The leadership of the Hussite movement , which continued to recognize Konrad von Vechta as bishop, was after his death in 1431 utraquist administrators ( directores cleri ). From 1478, when an utraquist consistory was established, the administrative office was exercised by masters from Charles University . The first administrator of the utraquist church was Jan Rokycana , who was elected Archbishop of Prague by the estates after the death of Konrad von Vechta in 1431, but was not recognized by the Pope.
