List of mayor's offices in the administrative district of Aachen

The list of mayors in the district of Aachen contains all the circles with the belonging mayors of the administrative district of Aachen . The list shows the status from 1830 . It is based on the section on the administrative district of Aachen in the "Topographical-Statistical Description of the Royal Prussian Rhine Province" by Friedrich von Restorff .

The mayor's offices in the Rhine Province had been established in 1816 and, apart from a number of amalgamations or splits, existed until 1927 when all rural mayor's offices in the Rhine Province were given the designation of an office . The Eupen and Malmedy districts had to be ceded to Belgium in 1920.

In some cases, the place names have been adapted to today's spelling.
