The basis is the publication of the list of monuments of the district of Vorpommern-Rügen, extract from the list of monuments from August 2015.

Railway station formerly small train Altefähr station was originally located west of today's station on Strelasund, where there was a ferry connection to Stralsund. The facilities were relocated with the construction of the Rügen dam. The facilities of the narrow-gauge railway were located south of the standard gauge.
