War memorial at the edge of the forest | The memorial for the fallen in World War I from Hülsede and Meinsen. In front of it the wall with inscriptions in memory of the fallen in both places in World War II. Watermill (manor mill) | The manor mill, documented since around 1450, is one of the oldest watermills in Lower Saxony. The mill is fed by the Hülseder Bach dammed up by a weir. Ev. Parish Church of St. Aegidius | The Gothic church made of quarry stone was built in the middle of the 15th century. The tower foundation and sacristy show the remains of a predecessor built at the end of the 12th century. The church is a single-nave vaulted building. Former school | Elementary school in Hülsede. As early as 1588, one of the oldest schools in the Schaumburger Land has been found in Hülsede. The school district included Hülsede, Meinsen, Messenkamp, Altenhagen II, the forester Blumenhagen, the Mittelmühle, the Niedermühle and the Rittergutsmühle. The building at St.-Aegidien-Straße 9, built in 1897, replaced the old school at St.-Aegidien-Straße 15, which was probably built in 1588 (the door bar is dated 1797). | 36238416 | |

Hülsede Castle | Castle (building). In the 14th century a stone house in the Gothic style was built on the Beeke in Hülsede. Gothic columns of this are still preserved in a cellar. From 1529 to 1548, Claus von Rottorp expanded the property into a four-wing complex with a moat immediately around the house, a rampart with corner towers and another defensive moat. The property had a strong permanent manning. The Edelhof is the oldest completely preserved castle in the Weser Renaissance style with two stair towers and arcades in the inner courtyard. The roof of the moated castle, which was restored from 1979, is covered with Solling sandstone slabs. | 36238349 | |

Iron hammer | Architectural monument group. The complex with several individual buildings, a weir system and ditches has been completely preserved and is therefore particularly valuable. The two-storey Ern-Tennenhaus, built in 1864, is one of the oldest peasant houses in the area and is not accessible with a hallway that can be accessed by car, but with rooms and a staircase accessible from a hallway. | 36217191 | |

Herriehausen farm complex 2, 3 | Architectural monument group. The single farm, first mentioned in 1346, was incorporated into Schmarrie in 1964 with its 22 inhabitants. It is one of the largest historical Meierhöfe in the Schaumburger Land. The main house was built in 1778, a two-aisled longitudinal barn in 1783, the large old-age divider house in 1790. The courtyard has its own water mill with overshot water wheel. There is arable and dairy farming. Herriehausen has been a holiday farm for over 30 years, and is still listed as an excursion restaurant on decades-old maps. | 36216270 | |
