Wayside shrines and wayside crosses
General
In Kirchhausen, which was once a German-Norse and therefore remained Catholic during the Reformation , numerous small religious monuments have been preserved. No. 28, the Anna cross , which according to legend is supposed to remind of an abandoned chapel near the village, as well as the wayside shrine No. 22a with the depiction of the blood miracle of Walldürn at the Trinity Chapel are of particular regional importance . In the monument topography of 2007, some of the objects named below are listed as individual monuments or, as in the case of the wayside shrines at the Trinity Chapel, are mentioned as part of another listed building. Other small religious monuments and crosses not included in the 2007 list are now compiled here, such as: B. in the Kirchhausen cemetery number 17 (cemetery cross and stone epitaph). The Albanskirche finally has several historical sculptures, including a Pietà from the 15th century.
