List of winding towers in Saar mining
This list of headframes in Saar mining contains a selection of the headframes and headframes that existed or still exist in the history of Saar mining . Existing conveyor systems are indicated in the column year AD / NL (decommissioning / resignation) without the year. The sequence is chronologically after the first depth .
A distinction must be made between conveyor frames (FG) and conveyor towers (FT): Conveyor frames with their steel cables typically coming from the side of an externally arranged machine room are common. The steel cable is fed vertically into the shaft via a pulley. Headframes have the hoisting machine mounted exactly above the shaft in the tower; the steel cable is not diverted. Because of the more frequent use of the term headframe, headframes are subsumed in this list.
