List of governors of Arunachal Pradesh

The following table lists the governors of Arunachal Pradesh with their respective terms of office. With the redesign of northeast India after the Bangladesh War , Arunachal Pradesh was detached from the state of Assam as an independent union territory on January 21, 1972 . Until 1975 it a Chief Commissioner, then stood before a lieutenant governor (lieutenant governor). Since February 20, 1987 Arunachal Pradesh has the status of a federal state with governor.
