List of governors of Madhya Pradesh
The following table lists the governors of Madhya Pradesh since the creation of the state in 1956 with their respective terms of office. Madhya Pradesh emerged from parts of the separately administered Central Provinces and Berar , Madhya Bharat , Vindhya Pradesh and Bhopal . The Chhattisgarh area was detached from Madhya Pradesh as an independent state in 2000.
