List of islands in New York City
The list of islands in New York City names the islands within New York City , separated according to the five boroughs . Four of the five districts are not themselves on the mainland. Brooklyn and Queens are mostly on Long Island , Manhattan is also an island. Only the Bronx borough is not on an island . More or less large islands are assigned to all five city districts.
