List of National Natural Landmarks in Arizona

This is a list of the National Natural Landmarks in Arizona . In Arizona there are ten properties designated as National Natural Landmarks (as of 2020). They were established between 1965 and 2011 and cover areas between approximately 4.5 hectares and 1234 square kilometers .

5 Grapevine Mesa 1967 35 ° 58 '28 "  N , 114 ° 4' 53.9"  W. Mohave Federal ( Bureau of Land Management ) The best existing collection of Joshua Trees in the United States.
6th Kaibab Squirrel Area 1965 36 ° 24 '0.6 "  N , 112 ° 9' 11.1"  W. Coconino Bund ( Kaibab National Forest ) Example of the habitat of the Kaib croissant .
7th Onyx Cave 1974 31 ° 43 ′ 3 ″  N , 110 ° 46 ′ 9 ″  W. Santa Cruz Bund ( Coronado National Forest ) Considered the most beautiful cave in Arizona.
8th Patagonia-Sonoita Creek Patagonia-Sonoita Creek 1970 31 ° 31 ′ 40.8 "  N , 110 ° 46 ′ 31.6"  W. Santa Cruz Private ( The Nature Conservancy ) An example of a poplar and willow meadow forest.
9 Ramsey Canyon Ramsey Canyon 1965 31 ° 26'52.1 "  N , 110 ° 18'25.9"  W. Cochise Private ( The Nature Conservancy ) A vertically sloping ravine cut by a stream.
10 Willcox Playa Willcox Playa From Cochise Arizona 2014.JPG 1966 32 ° 8 '27.6 "  N , 109 ° 50' 52.8"  W. Cochise Federal ( Bureau of Land Management ) The largest dry lake in Arizona.
