  • The pedunculate oak (Quercus robur), known as the "Memorial Oak", was planted on October 19, 1913 to commemorate the Battle of the Nations near Leipzig (October 16 to 19, 1813).
  • The pedunculate oak between the old town hall and the church was probably planted as a peace oak in the 1870s and commemorates the victory in the Franco-Prussian War in 1870 and the establishment of the Empire in 1871.
