The Evangelical Church in the Rommersheim district of the city of Wörrstadt in Rhineland-Palatinate was built between 1733 and 1751.

history

A predecessor to the church in 782 is mentioned through a donation from Emperor Charlemagne to the Hersfeld Monastery .

building

The church was built as a compact, three-sided closed baroque hall with a hipped roof and an octagonal roof turret . The portals have split gables . The altar inside is on a stone pillar. The pulpit is mounted on a stone pillar. In the mid-2000s, the church was completely renovated. The painting from 1900 was reconstructed.

The church is on the main street next to the old town hall. It has a forecourt with an old oak. It belongs to the Deanery Wöllstein and is co-administered in the parish of Wörrstadt next to Sulzheim and Wörrstadt.
