This is a list of the number one hits in Hungary in 1994 . It is based on the Top 40 album, DVD és válogatáslemez-lista of the Magyar Hanglemezkiadók Szövetsége (Mahasz), the Hungarian representative of the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry .
Although the Budapest-based band achieved unsurpassed debut success with their first two albums, the three members split in the third year of their success. It wasn't until 2006 that they came together again for another number one album.
The German magazine Bravo founded several branches in Eastern and Southern Europe and the Bravo Hits as quarterly hit collections were also taken over. The first sampler as Best of 1993 was also the most successful.
Although the associated film was released in 1992, 500 years after the discovery of America as a theme, the largely instrumental album by the Greek Vangelis did not become a success until 1994, in other countries it was not until 1995.
Although singer Ákos had already released a very successful solo album in the previous year, the trio continued the band's history with this second number one album after 1991. Nevertheless, they gave their farewell concert only a little later and finally went their separate ways.
With his Hungarian interpretation of Demis Roussos songs, Zámbó is the second interpreter with two top album albums this year. It also holds the record for the shortest time span between two number one albums.
