This is a list of the number one hits in Hungary in 2004 . It is based on the Rádiós Top 40 játszási lista in the single charts and the Top 40 album, DVD és válogatáslemez lista in the album charts. They were determined on behalf of the Magyar Hanglemezkiadók Szövetsége (Mahasz), the Hungarian representative of the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry .
