Stumbling block for Friederike Seewald after the laying

The list of stumbling blocks in Butzbach contains stumbling blocks that were laid by Gunter Demnig in Butzbach as part of the art project of the same name . They are intended to commemorate the victims of National Socialism who lived and worked in Butzbach.

In the urban area of Butzbach, Stolpersteine were laid in several laying actions at different addresses:

February 13, 2009: 15 stones at 5 addresses
May 10, 2010: 17 stones at 5 addresses
August 8, 2011: 15 stones at 5 addresses
February 14, 2014: 8 stones at 6 addresses
August 14, 2014: 20 stones in the districts
September 1st, 2016: 9 stones at 6 addresses, in the following days by the building authority 12 stones at 6 addresses
October 19, 2018: 6 stones at 2 addresses in Nieder-Weisel
February 4, 2020: 9 stones at 2 addresses

Three stumbling blocks in the city center at Wetzlarer Straße 31 (Leopold Rosenblatt, Trude Rosenblatt, Adolf Krämer) were relocated again after renovation work on the Butzbach indoor swimming pool, some with a different text.

Further stumbling blocks are to be laid at the Hubertus district youth home (between Münster and Bodenrod).

In 2009, street names that occur more than once in Butzbach were renamed for better orientation. The previous street names and house numbers are given in brackets in the list.
