List of lieutenant governors of Alberta
This list outlines the Vice Governors (Engl. Lieutenant governors ) of the Canadian province of Alberta since its inception in 1905. The lieutenant governor of the Northwest Territories had previously been the monarch's representative. The lieutenant governor represents the Canadian monarch at the provincial level.
Since the introduction of the Alberta Order of Excellence in 1979, every lieutenant governor has been chancellor of that order while in office.
