Remarks
- ↑ Lord Gosford resigned in November during the Lower Canada Rebellion . Colborne was named Commander in Chief of British Forces and Temporary Governor to quell the 1837 rebellions. After the restoration of order in Lower and Upper Canada, he remained in office until the arrival of Lord Durham.
