The Angolan Embassy building on 16th Street Northwest in Washington, DC was constructed in the 1910s, and was owned by Charles Evans Hughes , while in 1916 he presided over the US Supreme Court and ran for US President and the Bulgarian Government as Bulgarian Embassy . The market value was estimated at USD 2,847,170 in 2009 .
The George HW Bush Cabinet opened a liaison office in Luanda on January 10, 1992 , which Jeffrey Millington directed. The Clinton cabinet recognized the administration of Marcolino Moco on May 19, 1993 , lifted the arms embargo and was able to deliver legally lethal aid.
