This is a list of the Ambassador of the United Kingdom in Switzerland . The British Embassy in Switzerland is based in Bern . Until 1953 the heads of mission had the title of “ envoy ” or “envoy extraordinary and authorized minister”. The ambassador is also accredited in the Principality of Liechtenstein .
