The vicarage of Japons has a baroque, arched entrance gate, framed by pilasters, with a curved, strongly profiled gable, side busts and a decorative vase, which is marked 1715 in the gable. Inside you can see stucco work from the second quarter of the 18th century. The farm building has a flat arched entrance. |

In front of the Japons office is a beveled pillar from the 17th century, which is crowned by a tabernacle from the 19th century. The picture painted by restorer Hubert Bauer from Krems, which can be seen in the tabernacle, shows Rochus von Montpellier , the patron saint of plague sufferers. The wayside shrine was restored in 2012. |

The parish church of St. Laurenz in Japons is a plain, baroque building that can be seen from afar, with Gothic components on the former two-bay choir, with a five-eighth end and east tower. It is surrounded by a cemetery and an extensive wall. The simple building from the third quarter of the 18th century has a pilaster-structured cast stone block and segmented arched windows. In the west, the church is accessible through a profiled rectangular portal. The choir has a recessed, round arched end, buttresses and a pent roof with a water hammer. To the north is a chapel with a round arched end from 1879. The three-storey tower shows a rectangular stone block, on the upper floor double bars, round-arched sound windows, a profiled clock gable cornice and a neo-baroque onion helmet. |

The local chapel, built around 1800, has a ridge turret with an onion helmet on the west side, a somewhat retracted round apse and arched window. Inside it has a square vault on pillars with profiled spars and an apse dome. |
