The three-story New Castle was built in the first half of the 17th century south of the Old Castle. The façades are banded in the basement and structured on the upper floors by pilaster strips and plaster parapets from the second quarter of the 18th century. The hipped roofs and on Tuscan columns resting porch date from the first half of the 19th century. Some of the interiors, with lancet barrels and groin vaults , have stucco mirrors .

The eaves - standing two-storey building has a hipped roof, an irregular window layout and a rounded arch portal with curbstones , flat spars and a wedge stone , moved out of the center . The old castle, located slightly higher in the north of Breiteneich, is one of the earliest Renaissance castles in the country, was built in 1541 by Erasmus von Schneckenreith using late Gothic and Renaissance forms . The three- to four-storey block-like building with chamfered corners and a small yard is covered by hipped roofs and a park with surrounding wall , farm buildings surrounded, and New Palace.

The local chapel of Breiteneich is a baroque, renovated in the mid-18th century building with flachgedecktem ship , rounded edges, grooved Traufgesims and arched windows. The tower, which was renewed after a fire in 1904, is crowned by a pyramid helmet. In the east there is a low sacristy extension with a monopitch roof, which has stone-clad windows set with rosettes on its east side. The chapel is accessible in the west and south through rectangular portals in profiled frames. The interior has two lateral blind arches. The choir has a rectangular floor plan and a square vault. The early classical altar is a work of the year 1779. It bears the picture Teaching Mariae , flanked by carved figures of hll. Florian and Urban. Above the cafeteria, there is a small tapestry picture, Serenity on the run . The panel painting on the choir wall depicts the Assumption of Mary. Further furnishings include paintings of the Stations of the Cross from the late 19th century.

The house, which originally dates from the 16th century, has three floors and a four-axis facade from the second quarter of the 18th century. It has a grooved ground floor, upper floors structured by giant pilasters, on the main floor window canopies with retracted triangular gables, on the ground floor profiled window frames and a square portal from around 1600 with sculpted fighters and a volute wedge. The driveway is barrel vaulted, the stairwell has barrel vaults and groin vaults above the steps. The upper floor is equipped with stucco mirrors from the 18th century and barrel vaults. On the upper floor of the courtyard wing there are two small arcades .

The post-Gothic St. George's Church was built in 1593–1597 in place of a previous building from the 14th century. It is one of the few major Protestant churches in Lower Austria. The exterior has been given a baroque style. The 19th century spiers are modeled on the Tyn Church in Prague . The interior has a single nave, in a simple Gothic style renaissance. The city arms, the double-headed eagle and the arms of Puchhaim and Hoffmann can be seen in the vaulted mirror . The rococo pulpit dates from 1772.
Today cath. Parish Church, St. Stephan , the old parish church, is a branch church.

The Marian column was erected in 1679 east of the Georgskirche on the church square as a plague column. It has a two-tier base with corner stones and a high, four-sided pedestal with protruding corner pillars and a protruding top plate. The actual column rests on a prismatic base, flanked by figures of the Trinity and the Holy. Johannes Nepomuk, Rochus, Sebastian and Rosalia. On the south side you can see a fountain bowl with a crown of palmettes and acroteria attachments . A figure of Immaculata rests on the column.

The district court on the church square of Horn is also known as a painted house or sgraffito house. The core of the three-storey building dates from the fourth quarter of the 16th century. The coats of arms on the building suggest that the sgraffito images labeled 1583 were attached under Veit Albrecht von Puchheim as the owner. The pictures, which were painted over at an unknown point in time, were rediscovered, uncovered, restored and supplemented in 1899/1900.

The Gasthaus Zur Post, mentioned in a document in 1566, has a plaster structure from around 1800 on the upper floor. The groin vaulted entrance has a renewed arched gate, which is marked in the keystone with 1603. The vaults on the ground floor have stucco ridges, rosettes and medallions with angels and Turkish heads.

The facade of the former inn from the 16th century was reconstructed in 1984. The building has a deep courtyard wing and, on the upper floor, a five-axis arched arch on Tuscan columns. The adjoining service wing was built in the first half of the 19th century. The stable is a three-aisled, seven-bay hall with square vaults on Tuscan columns. The carriage house and the transverse barn have an arched doorway.

The town house, first mentioned in a document in 1596, has two main floors and a storage floor. It is gable and covered by a crooked roof. The exposed parts of the original facade show sgraffiti with coats of arms. The hall and other rooms on the ground floor have barrel vaults and stitch caps as well as rich stucco decoration and stucco structuring (ridges covered with pearl strings, pearl and egg rods, coffered ribbons, leaf ornaments on the mirrors, eagles, angel and Turkish heads and an eleven-petalled rose ) from around the time 1600. The approach to the inner staircase is equipped with a sandstone column.

St. Stephen's Church is the older of the two town churches in Horner. Originally built as a hall church with a square choir and a semicircular apse, it was gothicised in the 14th century, and in the 18th century the tower in particular was given a baroque style. On the outer wall in niche arches between the buttresses there are Baroque Stations of the Cross from the 17th century. The furnishings include a baroque high and side altar. The Katharinenkapelle is the old Romanesque aisle.
Today a branch church, the parish church is St. George .

The baroque crucifixion group from the second quarter of the 18th century is possibly the work of the Horner sculptor Friedrich Haßlinger (1672–1728). It shows Jesus on the cross, underneath Mary Magdalene kneeling, with long hair, touching Jesus' feet with her right hand. To the left of this is a female figure, presumably the Mother of God , and to the right the Apostle John , whose right hand rests on his left breast. The figure of Christ, clad in a billowing loincloth, is depicted with a head sunk under the crossbar, the arms stretched diagonally upwards.

There are several baroque tombstones at the cemetery . One of them is marked 1724 Leopold Hallinger and has a relief depicting Christ crucified with worshipers and angels. The cemetery wall sloping in the south is a medieval quarry stone wall with compensation layers. Other baroque tombstones with reliefs are walled into it.

The Altöttinger chapel was in the axis of the area of today's road Raabser applied to the mid-17th century clothier settlement built as a small central building on the model of the Bavarian Altöttinger chapel. It was profaned in 1787, adapted as a residential building, reopened in 1936 as the Dollfuss Memorial Chapel and served as a Protestant church from 1952 to 1970.

The town hall , formerly called Thurnerhof after a former city tower, is a spacious, three-story building with a banded plinth, smooth main floors and two broad cores on deeply fluted consoles. Horn Castle, located in the southeast corner of the walled city at the confluence of the Taffa and Mödringbach rivers, is a three-wing, monumental, rectangular courtyard-enclosing building with a medieval core, which is surrounded by an extensive park that extends over the Taffa. Established as a city castle in the 12th century, it has been rebuilt and expanded several times over the centuries. Medieval core buildings have been preserved in the south, west and north wings.

The Piarist Church was consecrated in 1675. It is characterized by a high structure with a simple plaster frame framed by pilaster strips and a profiled cornice. On the south side is the sacristy, built in 1720, above the seven-axis arcade of the former monastery. To the south there is a cloister garden in front of it. On the street side, the church is accessible through a richly decorated portal. The tower was renewed in 1847. It has arched sound windows, a clock gable wreath and an onion helmet.

The former Piarist monastery is a four-wing, three-storey building that is laid out around a rectangular courtyard. The core of the building dates from the Renaissance, later baroque parts were added and in the 19th century the monastery received substantial renovations. The oldest part of the complex, which is today's west wing and half of the north and south wing, was built by the Puchheims in the 16th century. In the 1640s it was used as the clothmaker's workshop. In 1657 the Piarists were called to Horn by Count Ferdinand Siegmund Kurz and founded the Schola Hornana there.

The inner ring wall of the medieval city fortifications with their defensive towers has been largely preserved. Some of the remains of the kennels can still be seen. Mentioned in a document in 1304, the city wall was expanded in the 15th century and received in the 16th and 17th centuries. Century their last form. The walls are up to eight meters high.

The rectory of Mödring, a two-storey building with a crooked roof, was built in the 17th century. It has stone window frames, which are closed with diamond grids on the ground floor and equipped with profiled sill cornices and cleaning flasks on the upper floor . An oak staircase leads from the ground floor, which is vaulted with barrels and stitch caps, to the upper floor, the rooms of which have stucco mirrors. The equipment includes two tiled stoves, one from the early and another from the end of the 18th century, as well as baroque statues from the 17th and 18th centuries.

The raised parish church on the western edge of the town, consecrated to John the Baptist , is a late Gothic hall church with an older eastern part and a south tower in the choir corner. It is surrounded by a cemetery. The almost square nave is covered by a tent roof. The choir is narrower and lower than the nave. The tower is crowned by a pyramid helmet. To the east of the choir is a sacristy annex.

According to tradition, the Barbaramarterl, built in the second half of the 15th century, stands on an old burial ground. It has a cube-shaped base, above which a beveled pillar rises, in the grooved edges of which tracery is faded and the front side shows a coat of arms with crossed vine knives . The pillar is crowned by a latticed tabernacle with a closed rear wall placed between two cover plates, inside of which there is a statue created in the late 20th century. The “polychromed wooden statuette of St. Barbara ”, which is described in the Austrian Art Topography of 1911, has disappeared. The inscription "Wolfgang Scharkher 1470" can be seen on the back of the tabernacle. From another inscription only the letters "Me .." and the year 1575 can be recognized.

The so-called Haslaumarterl is a tabernacle pillar built in the 15th century with Gothic style elements. In front of the chamfers of the shaft there are columns with perforated bases. Only parts of the year "14 .." of the inscription on the tabernacle can be read. The top is crowned by a canopy, the broken stone cross of which was replaced by a small iron cross.

The simple building with the western tower, retracted choir and the sacristy in the east was built around 1800. It has segment-arched windows and a plaster structure. The tower has corner pilaster strips , arched sound windows and a pointed helmet. In platzl vaulted interior can be seen, among others, Arch pillars with classical capitals. The furnishings include a neo-Gothic altar from the late 19th century, as well as benches and a door leaf from the late 19th or early 20th century.
