The castle , situated above the valleys of the Große Taffa and the Farnbach, on the sloping terrain on three sides , was destroyed in 1767. It is accessible from the north via a ditch and a wall . The strong, originally rectangular enclosing wall has partially slipped. The wall and castle were built from marble quarry stone from the region. The irregular courtyard has repaired buildings in the north and east. In the south, a formerly free-standing is Palas from around 1070/1080, next to a square, rounded in the upper zone, projecting to the south keep from the early 13th century. It has walls up to three meters thick and has recently been made accessible again. The castle also has a walled-in shoulder arch portal from around 1400.

The elevated local chapel of St. Veit , located in the middle of the village on the local mountain, goes back to a former castle chapel, of which the Gothic choir with a five-eighth end and a short, flat-roofed nave yoke have been preserved. The simple exterior is structured by a newer gable turret and two pointed arched windows from the 14th century. Inside the choir is a ribbed vault from around 1400 with a round keystone, as well as a pointed sacraments niche and a Gothic piscina . The barrel vaulted sacristy is accessible in the north through a Gothic shoulder arch portal from around 1400. Inside there is a small tendril altar with an image of St. Veit, marked 1713, and seated angel figures. Further furnishings include a kneeling statue of John Nepomuk from the first half of the 18th century and a bell from the 16th century.

The local chapel of St. Florian has a presented west tower with an onion helmet, a retracted and semicircular closed apse, arched windows and a corner cuboid. It was built in the second half of the 19th century. The chapel has a small neo-baroque altar with a column frame and an altarpiece of St. Family from the second half of the 19th century. Other features include wooden console figures of the hll. Markus (?) And Johannes Nepomuk from around 1700 as well as a bell by Johannes Baptist Dival from 1727.

Today's castle and castle complex is a building complex stretching from south to north on a fall-back crest of the western slope to the Haselgraben. The total converted area is 4430 m², the main castle occupies 2180 m². In the southern, higher part of the complex on the mountain top is the medieval stronghold, which is now in ruins in parts. Parts of the outer walls of the former palace are still preserved, and the remains of the former curtain wall. The mighty keep from the 14th century, a round tower with a conical roof and battlements, is well preserved. Its height is 27 m, the wall thickness at the base is 3.45 m.

Located on a hill and surrounded by a cemetery, the parish church of St. James the Elder is a simple, essentially Gothic building with a recently closed Gothic choir from the 14th century. At the end of the 17th century, the simple nave was redesigned in Baroque style and extended to the west. Its sloping outer walls are not structured. It is covered by a gable roof with stone gable crosses and opened through arched windows. The somewhat lower choir has pointed arch windows in the south and round windows in the east. In the northern corner of the choir, a Gothic tower with square windows rises above a square floor plan. Its upper zone with arched sound windows was probably created around 1770. He received his onion helmet in 1833. At the height of the roof of the nave there is a window facing north. The southern chapel extension dates from the late 17th century and is opened through profiled stone arched windows. The sacristy in the north was added in the 19th century.

The parish church of the Nativity of Mary , situated somewhat higher in the north of the village and surrounded by a cemetery with a quarry stone wall, is a simple, essentially Romanesque building with a retracted, arched, closed choir and a medieval north tower. The nave and the tower show sloping walls from the Romanesque predecessor building and are structured by banding in the base floor, pilaster strips, a corner plaster block from the baroque redesign, slightly curved windows with plaster valances and a profiled eaves cornice. In the lower area, the square tower is made of rubble stones, while the masonry in the middle zone is laid out regularly. It is opened to the north through a notch window and has arched, possibly Romanesque window frames inside. It is crowned by arched sound windows, a grooved eaves cornice, a clock gable and a baroque onion dome with a lantern. In 1767 the choir and the sacristy to the north were built. In the apse apse there is a figure of Immaculata from the middle of the 18th century in a round arch niche. An inscription board from 1794 is on the cemetery wall.

The local chapel in Reichharts is a small baroque building from the late 18th century with a semicircular apse and a front-built, slightly sloping facade tower, which is crowned by a gable wreath and a pointed helmet. A round-arched triumphal arch can be seen in the flat-roofed interior. The neo-baroque altar shows a Madonna relief and two putti .

Further furnishings include a wooden figure of the crowned Maria with child, which was probably made around 1500.

The parish church of St. John , situated on the north edge of the village and surrounded by a wall . Johannes Nepomuk is a late baroque hall church with a west tower and transept-like chapels. The simple exterior is structured with pilaster strips and arched windows. The two-storey tower with corner pilasters and a clock gable, which is crowned by a tent roof built in 1802, rises between curved gable legs, divided by cornices .

The branch church of St. Leopold is a small late Gothic building from around 1500, with a baroque nave, an eight-sided gable and a retracted two-bay choir with a three-eighth end. The church is accessible on the west side of the nave through a shoulder arch portal from the early 16th century. On the north side there is a two-lane, pointed-arched tracery window and in the choir three two-lane tracery windows, the eastern one being bricked up. The choir is supported by buttresses. The north-east is included in the low sacristy extension.
