The church was rebuilt in the 17th century and consecrated in 1690. The hall building with retracted polygonal choir has a church tower in the south, which was raised in the 18th century with another upper floor with an onion helmet. The nave with a flat ceiling was given a square vaulted organ gallery in the 18th century. The choir has a barrel vault with stitch caps. |

Neuhaus Castle Ruins ObjectID : 11508 |

The castle was built in the 14th century and destroyed in 1467, then restored, and in 1607 it came into the possession of the Batthyány family . The castle has been falling into disrepair since the middle of the 17th century. The castle ruins have a pentagonal floor plan with remains of walls with pointed arched openings. |

The castle with a hook-shaped floor plan had the Styrian mercenary leader Ulrich Pessnitzer built in 1469 . From 1607 the castle is owned by the Batthyánys and served as alternative quarters for the dilapidated Neuhaus Castle . The courtyard of the castle with two-storey arcades is used in summer for operas and events. |
