Tata small area

The small area Tata ( Hungarian Tatai kistérség ) was a Hungarian administrative unit ( LAU 1) within Komárom-Esztergom County in Central Transdanubia until the end of 2012 . The administrative reform of 2013 did not change the layout of the localities, the following Tata district (Hungarian Tatai járás ) continues to exist within the same limits.

At the end of 2012, 38,742 inhabitants lived in the small area of ​​Tata on an area of ​​306.71 km². The population density of 126 inhabitants per km² was slightly below the county average.

Administrative seat was the only city Tata (23.726 Ew.).
