Oroszlány small area

The small area Oroszlány ( Hungarian Oroszlányi kistérség ) was a Hungarian administrative unit ( LAU 1) within the Komárom-Esztergom county in central Transdanubia until the end of 2012 . The layout of the localities was not changed during the administrative reform of 2013, the following district of Oroszlány (Hungarian Oroszlányi járás ) continues to exist within the same limits.

At the end of 2012, 25,973 inhabitants lived in the small area of ​​Oroszlány on an area of ​​199.39 km². The population density of 130 inhabitants per km² was slightly below the county average.

The administrative seat was in the only city Oroszlány (18.326 Ew.).
