Dad is a Hungarian municipality in the northeast of the Vértes Mountains . The municipality is located 18 kilometers southwest of Tatabánya and 80 kilometers from Budapest .
history
The place was first mentioned in writing during the reign of King Andrew II in 1230 as Dod in the list of places in Fejér County.
