Naszály is a Hungarian community in the district Tata in Komárom-Esztergom .
Geographical location
Naszály is located in northern Hungary just under 4 km south of the Danube , which forms the border with Slovakia here, and west of the Gerecse Mountains , which are part of the Hungarian Central Uplands in Transdanubia . The place is located 64 km west of Budapest , 12 km southeast of Komárom and 7 km northwest of Tata . On the eastern outskirts of Naszály, a pond with nine large fish ponds covers an area of around 240 hectares.

From the Tata-Környe junction of the M1 motorway ( European roads E 60 , E 75 Vienna - Budapest ) it is 9 km to Naszály. The main road no. 1 describes an arc around the locality at a distance of two kilometers to the north and east. In the northern neighboring town of Almásfüzitő , the main road No. 10 , which accompanies the Danube bank, joins No. 1 from the east . The nearest train stations are in Almásfüzitő and Tata.
