Randens is a commune déléguée in the French commune of Val-d'Arc with 819 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Savoy in France . It belongs to the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region , the Savoie department and the Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne arrondissement .
The municipality of Randens merged with Aiguebelle to form the new municipality of Val-d'Arc on January 1st, 2019 . It belonged to the canton of Saint-Pierre-d'Albigny
The Arc formed the border to the neighboring municipality of Aiguebelle to the west and to Bourgneuf in the north-west. The other neighboring communities were Bonvillaret in the north and Montsapey in the east and south.
