The District of Saint-Pierre-d'Albigny is a French constituency in the department of Savoie in the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It includes 25 communities in the arrondissements of Chambéry and Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne , its main town (French: bureau centralisateur ) is Saint-Pierre-d'Albigny . During the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons, it was expanded to include the former cantons of Chamoux-sur-Gelon and Aiguebelle , thereby significantly increasing it.

The canton consists of 25 municipalities with a total of 18,879 inhabitants (as of 2017) on a total area of 294.70 km 2 :
Until the reorganization, the canton of Saint-Pierre-d'Albigny included the 5 municipalities of Cruet , Fréterive , La Thuile (today the canton of Saint-Alban-Leysse ), Saint-Jean-de-la-Porte and Saint-Pierre-d'Albigny . Its layout corresponded to an area of 73.80 km 2 . Before 2015 it had a different INSEE code than it does today, namely 7327.
