The canton of Bourg-Saint-Maurice is a French administrative unit in the department of Savoie in the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . As part of the nationwide reorganization of the cantons in 2015, it expanded by incorporating the nine municipalities of the dissolved canton of Aime . It thus includes 12 communities in the Arrondissement of Albertville , its main town (French: bureau centralisateur ) is Bourg-Saint-Maurice .

Until the reorganization, the canton of Bourg-Saint-Maurice consisted of the eight municipalities of Bourg-Saint-Maurice , Les Chapelles , Montvalezan , Sainte-Foy-Tarentaise , Séez , Tignes , Val-d'Isère and Villaroger . Its layout corresponded to an area of 569.15 km 2 . Before 2015 it had a different INSEE code than it does today, namely 7307.
