Location of the canton of Moûtiers in the Savoie department

The Canton Moûtiers is a French constituency in the department of Savoie in the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It includes 18 communities in the Arrondissement of Albertville and has its main town (French:  bureau centralisateur ) in Moûtiers . As part of the nationwide reorganization of the cantons in 2015, it was merged with the canton of Bozel .

Until the reorganization, the canton of Moûtiers included the 16 municipalities of Aigueblanche , Bonneval , Feissons-sur-Isère , Fontaine-le-Puits , Hautecour , La Léchère , Le Bois , Les Avanchers-Valmorel , Moûtiers , Notre-Dame-du-Pré , Saint -Jean-de-Belleville , Saint-Marcel , Saint-Martin-de-Belleville , Saint-Oyen , Salins-les-Thermes and Villarlurin . Its layout corresponded to an area of ​​461.05 km ² . Before 2015 it had a different INSEE code than it does today, namely 7320.
