Saint-Martin-de-Belleville is a commune Déléguée with 2,633 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the town of Les Belleville in the department of Savoie in the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It belonged to the Arrondissement of Albertville and the Canton of Moûtiers .

It was merged with the former municipality of Villarlurin with effect from January 1, 2016 , and merged to form Commune nouvelle Les Belleville.

Saint-Martin-de-Belleville is a winter sports resort in the Vallée des Belleville with the stations Les Menuires and Val Thorens . The area is crossed by the Doron de Belleville River. Saint-Martin-de-Belleville is surrounded by the neighboring towns of Saint-Jean-de-Belleville in the northeast, Fontaine-le-Puits and Villarlurin in the north, Les Allues in the east and northeast, Modane in the southeast, Saint-André and Orelle in the south as well as Saint-Michel-de-Maurienne , Saint-Martin-de-la-Porte , Saint-Julien-Mont-Denis and Hermillon to the southwest.
