Salins-Fontaine is a French commune with 1,011 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Savoie in the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Albertville and the Canton of Moûtiers .
Geographical location
Salins-Fontaine is located around 27 kilometers south-southeast of Albertville in the Tarentaise and on the Doron de Bozel , which together with the Doron de Belleville forms the southern municipal boundary. Salins-Fontaine is surrounded by the neighboring communities
- Grand-Aigueblanche with Le Bois in the north-west,
- Moûtiers in the northeast,
- Feissons-sur-Salins in the east,
- Les Belleville in the south,

On January 1, 2016, Salins-Fontaine was formed as a Commune nouvelle from the previously independent municipalities of Salins-les-Thermes and Fontaine-le-Puits .
