The Canton Chambery 2 is a French administrative unit in the department of Savoie in the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It was newly created in 2015 as a result of the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons and includes the southern urban area of the prefecture of Chambéry , which is partly part of the municipality of Jacob-Bellecombette . Chambéry is the main town (French: bureau centralisateur ).
