The castle ruins on a ridge to the northeast above the town were mentioned in a document in 1265 and probably destroyed as early as 1405/06. The lower parts of the north wall of the keep and some other remains of the wall have been preserved.

The chapel of St. Sebastian in the west of the village was consecrated in 1508. The rectangular building with a strongly recessed choir has a bell tower with a pointed helmet. The Gothic structure of the high altar dates from around 1510 to 1520.
