On August 24, 1952, the foundation stone was solemnly consecrated by Bishop Franz Zauner, who also inaugurated the new church in September 1957. Since January 1st, 1958 it has been run as an independent parish church. Built in the basilica style, it has a 37 m high tower and an altar made of Lofer marble.

In the years 1715/16, the Baroque Calvary Church was built according to plans by the Linz builder Johann Michael Prunner in gratitude for the averted plague. A raised hill over a former Roman wall served as the foundation. From 1977 to 1981 the church was extensively renovated.

Lichtenegg Castle was built in the middle of the 16th century by Ludwig von Pollheim as a moated castle. The moat was abandoned long ago. It often changed hands until it was given its current form in 1726 by the Wels master builder Wolfgang Grinzenberger. After bomb damage caused by the war, the castle was restored after 1944. Archduke Franz Salvator and his wife Marie Valerie lived in Lichtenegg Castle between 1890 and 1897. Empress Elisabeth of Austria (Sisi), the mother of Marie Valerie, visited Lichtegg several times.

The former tea pavilion (also called Sisi pavilion) in Lichtenegg's palace gardens dates from the 18th century. In 2006 the roof collapsed and in 2014 the building is in very poor condition.

This cross presumably comes from Bohemia and was erected by the company founder Franz Fritsch in the 19th century. Now owned by the city of Wels, it was extensively restored in 1988.

Late antique graves were found there in the first third of the 20th century. Since excavations only take place during construction projects, only a fenced plot of land can currently be seen.

The elementary school was built in 1952 by the Wels architect Leo Keller. The building was renovated in 1997 and is now largely true to the original.
