List of protected landscape components in the Merzig-Wadern district

The list of protected landscape components in the Merzig-Wadern district names the protected landscape components in the cities and municipalities in the Merzig-Wadern district in Saarland . Protected landscape components are elements from nature and landscape that are placed under protection for conservation, restoration and development. They are also important as habitats for certain wild animal and plant species.

Old regulation of the Merzig-Wadern district

In 1952, 24 parts of the landscape and parts of the landscape were placed under protection by the then Merzig-Wadern district.
