Protected landscape components in Bonn

There are three landscape plans in the city ​​of Bonn . A protected landscape component with an area of ​​around 2.5 hectares is only shown in the Sieg Mouth landscape  plan. In the area of ​​the Ennert and Kottenforst landscape plans there is no protected landscape component.

These are partially backfilled or backfilled and partially afforested. In the mid-1980s, the area was home to an extraordinarily large population of natterjack toads as well as other animal species on the Red List . The diverse, small-structured terrain is a valuable habitat for amphibians , reptiles , grasshoppers and other insects . The regular maintenance of open land is specified as a maintenance measure. No more toads or green toads were found in 2016
