List of political parties in Angola
This list includes the political parties in Angola .
After independence from Portugal in 1975 and the subsequent one-party system of the MPLA , independent parties were not allowed in Angola until 1990. After the elections to the National Assembly of Angola in 2012 , 67 parties were legally dissolved, leaving 11 parties. 19 parties were dissolved because they received less than 0.5% of the vote, and 48 parties lost their approval because they did not run for elections twice in a row.
