List of countries by employment rate

This list of countries by employment rate sorts almost 50 countries according to their employment rate , the proportion of employed adults out of all employable persons in the population. The determinations of “working age” differ, many sources use ages 15–64, including the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). The average of the 36 OECD member states was 68.3% in 2018 (here in 27th place): 76.0% for men and 60.8% for women.
