The list of mammal species in North Rhine-Westphalia especially names the species of mammals as documented in the Atlas of Mammals of North Rhine-Westphalia . The working group Mammalogy NRW is an amalgamation of volunteer mammal experts and associations, the State Office for Nature, Environment and Consumer Protection in North Rhine-Westphalia , the Zoological Research Museum Alexander Koenig in Bonn and the LWL Museum for Natural History in Münster.
