The list of botanical gardens in the Netherlands called botanical gardens in the Netherlands . The listing follows the Dutch Association of Botanical Gardens ( Nederlandse Vereniging van Botanische Tuinen ). The list contains 26 gardens (as of July 2019), sorted by city name. The character of the plant collections is very different, there are also arboretums , castle gardens , tropical houses in zoos , desert greenhouses and herb gardens .
