Litefoot (real name: Gary Paul Davis ; born March 1, 1969 in Upland , California ) is an American film actor and rapper .

Life

Litefoot has both Chichimeken and Cherokee as ancestors, and grew up in Tulsa , Oklahoma, on a humble background. After his parents divorced, he lived with his mother, who worked as a maid. Only a scholarship made it possible for Litefoot to attend the University of Tulsa , where, in addition to American football , rapping was soon one of his passion. His first music album was released in 1992 with the title The Money . Since then he has released over 10 other albums, most recently in 2008 under the title Relentless Pursuit .

To better market his music, as well as that of other Native Americans, he founded the music label Red Vinyl Records .

In 1995, Litefoot made his debut as a leading actor in The Indian in the Kitchen Cupboard as a film actor. In addition to a supporting role in Kull, the Conqueror (1997), he was last in 2002 in adaptation - The Orchid Thief in front of the camera. In 2004 he got a guest appearance on CSI: Miami .

Litefoot has been married to Carmen Davis, 10 years her junior, since July 1997; the couple, who have had a son since 1999, now live in Seattle ( Washington ).
