Literary Austria is the magazine of the Austrian Writers' Association . It was initially published quarterly, currently every six months, and since 2010 there has also been a themed issue per year. The magazine mainly contains reviews of up to 98 pages on new literary publications in Austria. In addition, mostly shorter essays by Austrian writers are printed in each issue, for example by Alfred Warnes , Gertrud Fussenegger , Ilse Tielsch , Klaus Ebner , Doris Mühringer , Elfriede Haslehner , Hannes Vyoral and Manfred Chobot .

Eleonore and Josef Zuzak , Julia Rafael and Gabriela Schreder are responsible for the content of the magazine .
