Hannes Vyoral

Hannes Vyoral (* 1953 in Lower Austria ) is an Austrian writer . He lives in Vienna and Wallern in Burgenland . At the beginning of the 1970s he wrote his first literary works and was active in literary groups and later in cultural policy, together with authors such as Gerhard Ruiss and Del Vedernjak . In 1981 he organized the first Austrian writers' congress in the Vienna City Hall.

From 1982 to 1991 Vyoral was managing director of the IG authors authors and editor of the magazine Autorensolidarität . In 1989 he resigned from the Graz authors' assembly , in which he also held a board position. Since 1999 he has been a board member and member of the editorial board of the literary circle and the literary magazine Podium . Hannes Vyoral wrote over 30 non-fiction books and nine volumes of poetry.
