Lithocarpus pattaniensis is aspecies of tree fromthe beech family (Fagaceae) that occurs in Southeast Asia .

Lithocarpus pattaniensis is an evergreen tree that can grow up to 30 m tall.
The fruit cup (cupula) is pot-shaped. It encloses four fifths of the nut . It opens slightly from above into uneven flaps. Four or five thread-like, wavy, horizontal lines run along its surface.
Flowering time is in September. The fruit ripens from August to September.
Distribution and locations
The species occurs only on the Malay Peninsula in Thailand and Malaysia . The northernmost known site is in the province of Surat Thani . Lithocarpus pattaniensis grows in tropical evergreen lowland forests and prefers locations on ridges.
Systematics
Euphemia Cowan Barnett described the species in 1938. The type locality is in the Thai province of Pattani .
