Location of Littdorf in Saxony

Littdorf is a district of the city of Roßwein in the district of Central Saxony in the Free State of Saxony . With other districts it forms the village of Niederstriegis .

geography

The Waldhufendorf Littdorf is located west of the old town of Roßwein . In terms of nature , the Littdorf plateau edge belongs to the Zellwald-Mulde-Striegis plateaus and thus to the Mulde-Loess hill country .

Littdorf was the scene of the battle near Döbeln in 1762. On January 1, 1970, Otzdorf was incorporated into Littdorf. On October 3, 1990, the community of Littdorf (community key 14021290 in the district of Döbeln ) had 421 inhabitants. On January 1, 1994 Littdorf was incorporated into Niederstriegis . Since January 1, 2013 Littdorf has belonged to Roßwein through the incorporation of Niederstriegis.
